The International Drug Policy Consortium, the International Network of People who Use Drugs, Harm Reduction International, and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance are launching the Support Don’t Punish campaign to call on governments to put an end to drug policies that lead to damaging health, social, economic and human rights outcomes. The heightened HIV risks faced by people who inject drugs can no longer be ignored.  Governments must reform drug laws and policies that criminalise people who use drugs, and hamper access to essential HIV prevention and health services.
